I just realized that the version of the plugin in the main post was version 1.10.1. Which will only compile properly on SourceMod 1.6 or older.

1.10.2 will be moved to the main post shortly, which not only compiles properly under 1.7 and newer, but uses gamedata to get the appropriate holiday numbers. Which means the SourceMod team can update the holiday numbers using the gamedata updater and once SourceMod is restarted, this plugin should work properly.

Incidentally, the new holiday was inserted as Holiday 4: TFHoliday_CommunityUpdate. There are no plans at the moment to support it in this plugin as it appears to be for the item server only. All higher holidays have been bumped up by one. I've updated the first post with the updated holiday numbers.

I've attached the new gamedata, but be aware that SourceMod may overwrite this on you.

Edit: 1.10.2 was moved to both the main post and the Updater.

Edit 2: psychonic already merged the gamedata change into SourceMod. Expect new gamedata to be pushed out soon.

Halloween is working fine but I can't get winter or birthday to work on certain servers for no apparent reason. The plugin isn't throwing any errors afaik.
Edit: I can get birthday and Halloween to both work if I place the 3 cvars in autoexec.cfg, but winter noisemakers are still not working.

I don't recall if this was asked precisely, however
Would halloween mode / fullmoon etc work on all maps instead of just the halloween ones?

I placed all maps into the halloween_maps.txt file and the halloween mapcycle

I also did this in autoexec.cfg file

Did the values of holidays change recently? We are using tf_forced_holiday 9 for Full Moon but we are getting the Halloween souls since last update.

So any chance there could be a menu added for changing this dynamically in game (say with root "z" access?"

Perhaps with just each holiday listed as a toggle? That would still allow you to have multiple holidays running, with the ability to change it as needed in game (and without need to give out the rcon pass for other admins to change it)

tfh_dontforce doesn't seem to work anymore. If 1, you never get any holiday items.

EDIT: Hmm, it seems to be random... sometimes it works, most times it doesn't. It kind of dies mid-map too after rebooting the server.

tfh_normalhealth is broken, there's a GetConVarBool in there that should be GetConVarInt instead.

Can't believe this went unnoticed for so long...

Thank you for the note, I changed those deprecates lines with TF2_IsHolidayActive.
So here goes, fixed tfh_normalhealth and removed the needless Updater code.

EDIT: Normal health script is still broken, see the post below.
EDIT2: Nevermind, I attached the fixed version in the further post.

I appreciate the fix - I just started running a server and the players have heavily requested the enabling of Halloween items, but we all find the healthkits a little tacky in the middle of May.

However, when running this new version, if I have tfh_normalhealth set to 1, while it does work at changing the healthkits... the server hangs when the map changes and restarts itself automatically. I'm not sure why and confessedly I don't know much about Sourcemod and can't offer any suggestions - but I'd be really gracious for a fix to this. As it is I am very grateful to see an update to the exact plugin functionality I needed only a week ago!
