Lowly server admin checking in here. I now have my server running metamod/sourcemod on the latest snapshots.

Reply to the last post and for all linux admins looking to get up to speed:
1) Get the latest MM1.8 snapshot (I used mmsource-1.8.1-hg698.tar.gz)
http://www.metamodsource.net/mmsdrop/1.8/
2) Get the latest SM snapshot (1.4.0-hg2953.tar.gz)
http://www.sourcemod.net/snapshots.php
3) Edit your metamod.vdf --change server_linux.so to just server.so
4) Boot up your server!

Mine seems to be running MM/SM fine, but a lot of my plugins fail. I guess sdkhooks is broken/needs updating? Edit: Or it's just a filename change... bleh

All L4D2 extensions will need recompiled. I'll upload an updated L4D2 sdkhooks in a couple hours and post on the sdkhooks thread.

Works very well with latest snapshot mm and sm and all mods on my servers running, but sometimes it crashes...

Nice update works well with a few plugins but as others have said it seems some plugins need to be fixed.

Noobish window user here:

Can some1 break this down for me? Is it possible, and if it is how, to make plugins work again for a windows local server (started from lobby)
with plugins like !usepoints, !csm, and leftfortdead? I've only been into plugin/mods for about a week.

(From what i've read it works for linux, but im not sure if it worked for windows, as what i tried from what i read didnt work)

This is now up at the regular SDKHooks download link. I marked the old one as deprecated so it should no longer show up.
