more likely he had some old version in the repo, it has no problems with prettified json, it can even encode arrays to prettified json on demand, i know as i use it in more than 10 plugins with way more complicated jsons than these. ive attached the latest include file if youd like to take a look at it again

edit: i just did a quick diff on his and the latest and he did have an old version with a serious bug
