BAILOPAN sucks at optimization. He doesn't know the first thing about it.

In all seriousness... is speed really the priority now? I'd like to see some decent data structures, personally. I'd love to port STL ADT's to Pawn through the VM but that would fuck up portability... maybe I'll port celltravtrie to it, at least (unrelated to STL).

bail: I'd also like to see an interpreted language built into AMXX as we talked about a while ago. I might try doing that but it would obviously be a fork as I could never get it to be fast enough that it would be useful in a production environment. I got started on an interpreter for Pawn assembly, written in Pawn, but I never finished it. I'd estimate I'm about 25% of the way through.

Oh well. Gotta wait for exams to finish, first.

Are these builds personal, or do we submit them to you, or what?
I understand we can still post patches or updates in the bug reporting system, but what does this add for the unoriginal developers of AMXX who want to update it with bug fixes, new ideas, etc.?

Exolent: The process for getting any code into the tree is the same whether or not you are an "official" developer:
* Post a bug report.
* Attach a patch, explain what it is.
* Ask a qualified peer to review it (me, sawce, DS)

Once a patch gets r+'d (positive review), a developer will check it into the source tree. I will gladly give anyone commit access once they have a few patches under their belt.
