Hello guys, I'm planning to host a csgo server on google cloud.
Can n1-standard-1 run a 128tick 5v5 pug server?

Doubtful, but try it out and let us know. Unless it allows you to use it's turbo frequency and not their base frequency, you're going to hit a wall.

Hi,

I'm using GCP for custom match servers, but not for public use (where you can join from community browser). From my experience, n1-highcpu-2/n1-highcpu-4 is required to create 5v5 128tick servers.

Also, if you're planning to create public server for people to join from the community browser, it will not work as Google's IP is located in the US. For example, if you create servers in asia-southeast, you will receive an IP that is located in the US, thus people living in SEA will not found the server unless by tags.

Hope it's useful.
Thanks

Yes, that will be an issue unfortunately. Maybe try using other providers with the same kind of service & price, maybe lower than that. Most Asia server providers, has the same server quality from my past experiences. Just that the Asia region is still expensive to have a DDoS protection server/network, as bandwidth is expensive here.
