Yeah, can do. For now you could edit the source and remove "|FCVAR_NOTIFY" where they appear. Will eventually update so it reads a config of sounds paths.. Been busy working on some other bits.

what exactly do you mean by edit the source? where is the source located?

Not sure where else to post this - haven't seen silvers around in a long time. Does anyone know how to silence the "ready to spawn" bell/ding sound... (like moving back and forth behind a wall and hearing that loud DING letting you know you can spawn).

I've looked for the sound file... not sure where it is.

Edit: Found it: PICKUP_SCIFI37.WAV

It worked before, I was using it a couple months ago, when I tried to use it now it doesn't seem to be working (latest SM 1.9).

Edit: Nevermind, this was caused by a conflict with other plugin.

I would love to introduce him into my mod, but I want the infected to make a sound when attacking, for example Hunter is silent when he is crouching, but he has a sound when he is jumping or grabbing .

Interesting plugin, but it could stand to be developed a little bit.

It mutes all sounds specials make, including non-vocal ones, which is weird. For example the 'bonk' sound when chargers run into a wall, or when they slam you into the ground.

Ideally this plugin should allow some control over what sounds to mute, and which to keep.

Also, the configuration filename has a spelling error (l4d_silenced_infeceted.cfg)
