i can't get stripper source to get rid of the hostage and C4?

here is my metamod plugins ini:

addons/cssdm/bin/cssdm_mm
addons/stripper/bin/stripper_mm

here is my global filers.cfg from stripper source:

;;Remove semicolons to uncomment a line

;;EXAMPLE - remove all physics props
filter:
;{
;"classname" "/prop_physics.*/"
;}

filter:
{
"classname" "/.*bomb.*/"
}
{
"classname" "/.*hostage.*/"
}

here is my gameinfo.txt:

"GameInfo"
{
game "Counter-Strike Source"
title "COUNTER-STRIKE'"
title2 "source"
type multiplayer_only
nomodels 1
nohimodel 1
nocrosshair 0
hidden_maps
{
"test_speakers" 1
"test_hardware" 1
}
nodegraph 0

FileSystem
{
SteamAppId 240 // This will mount all the GCFs we need (240=CS:S, 220=HL2).
ToolsAppId 211 // Tools will load this (ie: source SDK caches) to get things like materials\debug, materials\editor, etc.

//
// The code that loads this file automatically does a few things here:
//
// 1. For each "Game" search path, it adds a "GameBin" path, in <dir>\bin
// 2. For each "Game" search path, it adds another "Game" path in front of it with _<langage> at the end.
// For example: c:\hl2\cstrike on a french machine would get a c:\hl2\cstrike_french path added to it.
// 3. For the first "Game" search path, it adds a search path called "MOD".
// 4. For the first "Game" search path, it adds a search path called "DEFAULT_WRITE_PATH".
//

//
// Search paths are relative to the base directory, which is where hl2.exe is found.
//
// |gameinfo_path| points at the directory where gameinfo.txt is.
// We always want to mount that directory relative to gameinfo.txt, so
// people can mount stuff in c:\mymod, and the main game resources are in
// someplace like c:\program files\valve\steam\steamapps\<username>\half-life 2.
//
SearchPaths
{ GameBin |gameinfo_path|addons/metamod/bin
Game |gameinfo_path|.
Game cstrike
Game hl2
}
}
}

css: dm is working great and meta tells me that everything is loaded and working
i don't know if this is related to stripper source not working but when i type stripper dump in the console css crashes and an error screen tells me that memory could not be read.
if anyone could help me fix this it would be greatly appreciated!

thanks in advance!

found this in my log:

L 05/26/2006 - 17:21:23: [STRIPPER] Could not find global filter file: C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\dirtbiker14519\co unter-\addons\stripper\global_filters.cfg

and here is where my global_filters.cfg is located:
C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\dirtbiker14519\co unter-strike source\cstrike\addons\stripper

I have exactly the same problem except on a rented public server. Any fix for this yet?

Stripper:Source has been updated. See the relevant thread or the site:

Still doesn't work for me I'm afraid, metamod is loaded and functioning and strippermod reports as being loaded but does nothing. I've tried disabling mani admin and mattie ES so only Source:MM, cssDM and stripper are running but it makes no difference. The only thing that does work is if someone drops the bomb deliberately or dies when they are carrying it then it disappears, preventing anyone from completing the round objectives. But that doesnt help much because the auto map change doesnt work and it just keeps reloading the same map.

We're on a rented server and I guess it doesnt like the fact that the core directory is not called "cstrike" but there's nothing I can do about that. Any suggestion?

You say you have the "exact same problem" but there are at least three different problems reported in this thread. Which problem do you have? That Stripper isn't reading the config file, that it crashes when dumping, or that it's not removing the bomb zones?

Your problem is sounding like one with CS:S DM and nothing to do with Stripper. If CS:S DM's auto map-change feature isn't working, please attach your cssdm.cfg and mapcycle file.

I have all those problems, basically stripper isn't doing anything at all, it doesn't remove the props, it doesnt remove the bomb zones, it doesn't remove the hostages, the automap change doesn't work and it crashes when dumping. It doesn't do anything I put in the global filter config file and when mp_timelimit runs out it just reloads the same map. I haven't made any adjustments to cssdm.cfg other than setting automap change on, my mapcycle.txt file which is in the default location simply contains:

de_dust
de_dust2
de_aztec

and my global_filters.cfg file contains the following:

filter:
{
"classname" "/.*bomb.*/"
}
{
"classname" "/.*hostage.*/"
}
{
"classname" "/prop_physics.*/"
}

Both cssdm and strippermod report as running in console. I've tried disabling mani admin mod and mattie ES but it makes no difference.

cssdm works basically as you would expect it work without strippermod, i.e. if i disable everything except except source:mm and cssdm, turn off automap change and set the rounds to 9 minutes then as long as no one plants or a whole team doesnt die then deathmatch just continues as it should for 9 minutes at a time until mp_timelimit runs out and then it changes to the next map in the cycle. As soon as I try to enable strippermod it is no longer able to read mapcycle.txt and it either doesn't read the global_filter.cfg or it doesn't act on whats in there.

The only possible conclusion that I have at the moment is that strippermod doesn't like running on a shared box and because the root game directory is not called "cstrike" it can't locate global_filters.cfg and mapcycle.txt

Turn logging on and force a mapchange. Does Stripper say anything about not finding a config file?
