ohh dang. Well the servers come up but when i press one of the servers it says

protocal mismach/different mod

erm, what version of xREDIRECT are you using? if it's the beta try using the stable version.

Uhh, I have both of them on the server.

that was as helpful as no answer at all. when i looked the plugin didn't run. that's 3 different states (stable, beta, none), how am i supposed to find an error in this chaos of switching states?
with which version did the problem occur?

Nvm, I got it to work. I have one more question, How do you make it say what map its on and how many ppl are playing on the servers when you type /server?

Then cange the cvars in your amxx.cfg to 1, at least for redirect_manual

Is there a way I can redirect ppl to a server with a command or something? or just right when they join to send them to a different server

what's with your last problem? does it still say "down"?
1. you need to make sure that your server can reach the other server with UDP on network level. if it's it a rented game server that isn't always the case and you can't do much about that (maybe ask your server provider). if it's a root/home server you should have full control over that.
2. check whether the sockets module is loaded, xREDIRECT needs it. issuing an "amxx modules" command on your server console should give you a line like this:

[ 8] Sockets                 1.8.1.3746  HLSW Dev Team        running

3. maybe you messed up the address of the other server in serverlist.ini file. read the console (or log) message when the server starts up, that one that says "Loading server XY (address:port)", and check whether address and port are really correct. maybe you have a whitespace or something after the address? or just a typing mistake, a wrong number?

about that redirection question: there are 3 ways how players can get redirected: for automatic redirection you set redirect_auto to something else than 0 (please refer to the documentation of redirect_auto to see the possible functionalities), 1 or 2 is usually right. then the plugin will automatically redirect people who connect when the server is almost full (one slot left).
then there is manual redirection controlled by the players themselves using the /server command, available when you set redirect_manual to something else than 0.
and then you as admin can also redirect players manually by using the redirect_user command (you can see the usage of that command with amxx_help).
