I am currently trying to setup a deathmatch classic server on ubuntu and every time I try running the script I keep on getting cstrike 1.6 and what looks like HL1 (valve). I am going off what is shown here.

This is the script I am running.

steamcmd.sh +login anonymous +force_install_dir ~/gameserver +app_set_config "90 mod dmc" +app_update 90 +quit -validate

Honestly I am not seeing anything wrong based off the valve documentation. But I have never had to use app_set_config before.

Nevermind, I found the solution.

I had to remove the ""
