I played around with it on my server and can confirm that custom flags works just fine in .cfg file . Nice job! The only thing I noticed that I need to have flags "a" or "z" assigned to a player to get it work (didn't work with "b" which is strange or "c"). Otherwise,everything seems to be OK.

Thats possible, but i belive i can only give this question back to the SM-Devs, because my Plugin only get the Flag you set in the cvar and check if the client who were died own this flag.
But its not so important, I think the main part of the cvar is to work with the custom flags, and i belive thats already works

1. Got an idea what is is.

2. Its a little bug: The convar is back to front: If you set it to 1, respawn is disabled and if you set it to 0, respawn was enabled. Fixed with next version comming now.

We use the default respawn time on our servers, will this allow folks to respawn quicker depending on the flag? And more importantly, does this mess with how the respawn timer is announced to the server browser (will it knock you off Quick Play).

EDIT: Just tried it with sm_instant_flag "o" and it's not working for folks with the "o" flag but works fine with my "z" flag.
