Hello,

How we can open motd with CS:GO?
Looks like ShowMOTDPanel open an "hidden window", any idea why?

Currently, all "MOTD" (the "info" vgui panel) windows on CS:GO are hidden unless they're sent while the player is still in the welcome state (before the joingame command usually triggered by closing the regular motd at join).

I forced the client back to the welcome state by calling State_Transition(1). The motd still doesn't visibly show but it is hidden in the background somewhere because I see unsafe javascript errors in my console. Is the "info" panel a child of another panel we need to display first?

I would very much like to get this working so if anyone has ideas please let me know.

take a look through the net props maybe something we can set to make them back to welcome screen... maybe id just wish valve would fix that lol... though they have bigger issues to worry about.

I already tried looking through the net props. There is "m_iPlayerState" but since I called State_Transition(1) directly it already sets that variable back to the welcome state.

Does anyone know how to get a list of all the vgui panels the game has? I tried looking through the panels with "vgui_drawtree 1" but really didn't get anywhere.

It is possible to fix. ESEA spent a lot of time working on something and they got it to work. So it is possible just time consuming.

Do not know if they will release it as they spent a lot of time to do it themselves. I will ask around to see if they can release it. But most private addons like that will probably just be kept for themselves.

MOTD windows are a large part of alot of my plugins so hopefully valve wises up and FIXES IT
