So , i have an web host with cpanel , i added all models,maps,sound,gfx,sprites nessecary there and i put the link that i got on server.cfg that it will look like this :
sv_downloadurl "http://www.elg-fastdl.ultimatefreehost.in/cstrike/"

Thats my webhost link btw , it was working since i changed the webhosting page so from gbfreehosting i did go to ultimatefreehosting , so it didnt work with the last webhost , i tried putting the old one , but now they both dont work :/
Problem is that when an client want to join the server , at start the fastdl is incredibly fast but then it got this error :

Map [maps/ze_paola_city.bsp] has incorrect BSP version (1836345404 should be 30).
Host_Error: Disconnected

Dont get baited by the map , i tried to change map but then shows error of models then sounds etc..
First it shows this error for map :

Couldn't join the server

Then when i change map(basiclly when i upload the actual map on server files to my cs folder), goes error for models and sounds :

Client model is null

On console it shows this error but i dont know if it is about the actual problem here:

SZ_GetSpace: overflow on netchan->message
SZ_GetSpace: overflow on netchan->message

Game: Cs 1.6
OS: Linux

Any idea ?

Try to not make zm maps with fastdl, they use very low memory.
Also if player do not delete that zm map which he downloaded from fastdl, he wont be able to play on that map.

- That map is a blank map 'what u might call it' which server cant read that and shows as a 'empty' one

I do not think that is the problem here , i saw a lot of zm servers with fastdl on map too , and idk what to say about the "blank map" cuz it doesnt work for any zm,ze,jb,dr map . Anyway thanks for reply.

For problems with server, use the 'HL1 Servers (HLDS)' sub-forum. This sections is for plugins suggestions requests.


I found this '/?ckattempt=1' on your URL when accessing 'http://www.elg-fastdl.ultimatefreehost.in/cstrike/':

http://www.elg-fastdl.ultimatefreehost.in/cstrike/?ckattempt=1

It should not show up the '/?ckattempt=1'.

This or something like it was already addressed here on this other thread:

1. Re: sv_downloadurl not working!
2. Client model world is null

Check my posts and the thread itself and see if the attempt solution/problem is applying to you.

I recommend purchasing a legitimate website, you'll have fewer issues.

Also, you will have to them manually on your game installation, before enter on your server again, because now you downloaded corrupted stuff and it will always break forever, even if you fix your web hosting fast dl.

This is a good advice. Working with free hosting is more difficult and usually they are not always online, or maybe they do not offer enough monthly bandwidth, depending on your server traffic.
But if you can fight properly these stuff, I think you can get it working. However they may ban your account after sometime because if I recall correctly, they usually strictly forbidden such use of their services.

I followed the link you gave , and i already knew that it shows the /?ckattemp=1 i didnt know thats an problem here but whatever, i cant remove it , the link you gave shows nothing ... they just got the same error but no solution , if it is there can u explain it here better pls ?
And btw i have access on only .htaccess and .override , on root directory of website !

I know about that but i do now own an paypal , and i cant put out my CC on websites just to get an original domain , plus if i do they probably will ask for other stuffs too :/ , if there's a way to get it work from free hosting that would be nice

Alternatively, you can purchase a cheap VPS and install Apache on it.
