If it crashes at the beginning of map, try Float:TimelimitMultiplier = 0.0. It will (at least should) skip it. If it fails to load at all, you'd better remove it from your mapcycle though.

I have a much simpler to use plugin on my CVS that does the same thing, kinda. It requires your default map be set in the autoexec.cfg though, not command line. It also will attempt to force a map vote if the same map keeps crashing. It was wrote for our server so it might not work for everyone.

http://cvs.thekingpin.net/cvsweb.cgi...x_autoexec.sma

After looking at the threads plugin again ours do the same thing but in different ways and would have different uses (maybe they could be merged into one plugin?).

rain: If you want to take a look at my plugin and steal some ideas/code you can.

Thanks for offer.

Though I think they are so similar (amx_autoexec and Crash Guard in CRASH_DETECT_MODE = 2) that no merging is needed. Similar functionality - other ways to achieve it.

If someone wants to do it one or another way, they are free to choose. If you don't mind attaching it to your message, it would serve as a good alternative I think.

Guess I did not look at yours close enough if you have a similar mode already. Sounds like you and me both have a bunch of unpubliched usefull plugins laying around. Anything work using I have on my CVS though.

great job rain! wonderful for when admins aren't around!

i'm using 1.76d. correct me if i'm wrong, but when i went to edit nextmap.sma that line was already uncommented.

Code:
   * You should now recompile the amxx's standard nextmap
     plugin (nextmap.sma):

     Uncomment: #define OBEY_MAPCYCLE
     Recompile.
no biggie, but if amxx comes that way now, that's one less step to worry about.

thanks!

i just tested this on my server. plugin running, its saves the name of the current map in the data/crash folder, but when the server goes to de_restart it stays there. the crash.ini file is now empty

I can't reproduce it. Please post more details - AMX Mod X, plugin version. Anything in the logs?

Doesn't work... For both methods, and this plugin useless, try this: http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=54103
