set_cvar_num("ctf_enable",0)

when the cvar name is
ctf_enabled

Don't quite unsderstand the tag mode,

1. if you get tagged, you have to run back to your base to get "untagged" before you can tag others or get the flag yes?
2. what happens to their flag if you've got it and get tagged?
3. do people with the flag run slower? cos the flag is the objective and its very difficult to catch someone when you can both run at the same speed, even only slightly slower would be a bonus.
4. can this be set up on a points basis. eg. the first team to get the flag 10 times wins?

1. yes
2. it gets dropped, obviously
3. no - the player has to run past SEVERAL players in a server with the flag, doing so with slow speed would be impossible since you cannot tag people and your teammates cannot tag people on their side of the field.
4. sure, will take like 30 seconds to set that up.

quality, for some reason was only thinking of 1on1 when chasing the guy with the flag .

I figured the flag would get dropped, but then you'd obviously walk on it and send it back to your base straight after, so was thinking about having to run it back yourself, so it could get stolen on the way back etc. instead of it teleporting back. Then, spose you'd be worrying about their flag too.... dunno, just an idea.

the drop feature was made more for gun mode where you kill them from a distance and then have to go and get the flag while dodging enemy bullets. I think it is fine how it is.

I took the time to create these beautiful sprite flag stands so that people wouldn't have to precache and then you want to use a model? :'(

Yeah, it's possible, probrably would look pimp w/ the TFC flag too, however, not today. Got something else planned for today ;)
