I am trying to find a plugin that will allow this command in console.
stopsound

If you try to use this command in my server, you get a message that sv_cheats must be set to 1.
I don't think I am comfortable with doing that.

I have searched, but have not been able to locate anything that allows clients to stop background noise. Many players do not want to hear all the background noise in maps and they should have an option to disable those sounds.

I would be open to a plugin that stops ALL ambient sounds for all clients that join the server, so the command would not have to be entered...

I am new to Source, so if there is something already out there please advise.
