Hi Allied Modders,

We all know that the HL1/CS1.6 servers do not support any client side rate force.
Except for sv_minrate and sv_minupdaterate, and does not force client settings.
To add that feature onto my WAR-server, i need a minimal version of AmxModX.
Without any admin, help, slot, ban, map, vote, logs, and most important miscstats funktions.

My idea is to Create a "AmxModX-Lite-Patch", and only load a custom client-rate-force plugin.
Tryed to simply turn all the features off, but it still pre-loads the miscstats sounds.

Think i only need the base module for this, and is there a way to change the basic setup ??

Just disable the plugins with adding ";" in front of their names in plugins.ini.

Then it is still loading a plugin, show us the output of the "rcon amxx plugins" command. Also, forcing cleint rates is slowhacking and is severely frowned upon in the CS Community

Thanks u all, i finaly found the Problem !!
Seems there where some .res files in my /cstrike/maps folder
That forced that the misc-stats-sounds got downloaded at server entry.
Rate force is actualy the biggest problem of HLDS and CS_v1.6.
A low client rate's is like a cheat, they changed it on the source engine for good reason.
When players tell u other story's, is just a excuse to cheat.
My point of view: "If u cant handle the load on your connection, leave and find a'n other enemy.

Then force the rates from the server using the non-slowhacking method, with server-side cvars

It does force client settings.
The only setting you can't force is cl_cmdrate

Which doesn't affect anyone else, hence why it can't be forced.
