Hi all; after searching for a plugin that will load cvars from a db... the only thing close was :
http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=5751 and that was never published + it is a hella old topic.
So I thought I'd start by first asking if this is even possible... can cvars be loaded from a db? If so and someone is up to the challange, I'd like the plugin to handle the following info:
- plugin, cvar, value, state (active/innactive), server
(all varchar??)
the plugin first checks to see if the server being handled is the correct one (maybe a define in the sma where if the server = 0, then the values are passed to all servers, if anything greater than 0, then only the cvars with the server field equal to the defined value will be read, then check the state field first to see if it is set to active, if so then it will pass to the game server the cvar and value results.
simple, clean neat.
criticisms and additional suggestions welcome.
