New beta version with configurable cvars

sm_snowfall_type "3" - Type of the precipitation
sm_snowfall_density "5" - Density of the precipitation
sm_snowfall_color "255 255 255" - Color of the precipitation


Beta version because I test with diferent values but I no appreciable differences

btw, Big thanks to my friend Xilver266 for tell me the values of func_precipitation because to me not work well the Source SDK

tested and works fine. people who are having fps problems, reduce the density or mess around with the Cvars for the best performace for your server.

this could be in future updates, you could add more effects for like skybox/lightstyle/fog and other cool effects which are avaiable.

However it makes my FPS drop too on my server, I'll try to change the new controlable cvars for more performance.

Have you read the precipitation issues stated on the valve wiki? You shouldn't create one entity around the whole map, but always stay above the floor of the map to avoid crashes. Don't have 2 func_precipitation brushes over the same area and have the density set individually for each brush.

There are a few console commands to debug and optimize these on your server either.

Sorry, I didn't find the commands you were talking about or how to use them on my server. Could you be more precise?
I might need them if I still have fps drops on server when using pugin.
