I really love it, it made my life a lot easier that some of my trusty admins can access the console without Linux knowledge.
I also had a nice performance improvement.

But how did you set up auto update for CS:GO tho (if you did)?
When I hosted with LinuxGSM I had cronjobs in Linux for it.

Edit:
Sorry for going off-topic, didn't realize. Perhaps you can PB me?

Doesn’t Pterodactyl have AutoUpdate? If so Ill use Pufferpanel or OpenGamePanel instead

Simply disable auto update if it bothers you so much. You're also welcome to use any panel you want.

Give it a try, and let us know if you have issues with it. Though like I mentioned in my link earlier, I'm using the base kernel with great results, there's been no need to change that. If you have better results, please be sure to share and I might give it a go as well.

It's pretty great; however, I had issues with their egg for CS:GO and I ended up making up my own. You may need to customize it a bit, and of course if you make any changes read the notification as you may need to restart the daemon.

i tried xanmod kernel and its way better now..especially pings are way lower
sv and var are still fluctuating but abit lower i can cope with that.

this Pterodactyl seems way to complicated to install for me so rip that haha im gonna stick with opengamepanel now and hope the kernel handles multiple servers good aswell..for now i have only 1 running on that cpu

A weird fix i found today.

Remove -console my var dropped from 0.008 to 0.000 or 0.001
And yeah try with 32 real people. My var also goes high with 12 bots.

Yes it is, like I mentioned I am running it on Debian.

This is how I set it up:
Add to file: /etc/apt/sources.list
Code:
# tuned
deb http://http.us.debian.org/debian/ sid main
Update and install tuned:
Code:
apt-get update
apt-get install tuned tuned-gtk tuned-utils tuned-utils-systemtap
reboot
List of useful tuned commands:
Code:
tuned-adm active
tuned-adm list
tuned-adm recommend
tuned-adm verify
tuned
Recommended for performance:
Code:
tuned-adm profile latency-performance

nice nice nice THX

i had to do
Code:
apt-get remove binutils
but then it was running

tested the latency-performance in combination with xanmod kernel and ogp and debian8 now

xanmod only:
ping ~20
- alone on server it fluctuates between 010 and 015
- up to 20-25 bots var (015-030) cpu load ~70-80% all smooth as f***k tho
actually no red sv var at round start (obv. cuz cpu load only max 80%)
- with 30 bots red sv var at round start but settles down very quick (var max 0.800 midround)
cpu hits the 100% only at round start then falls back to 70-80% but quick..no lags
ping raises a bit ~25

xandmod+tuned:
ping ~20-22
- alone on server it fluctuates actually between 000 and 001
- up to 20-25bots var is way better than without tuned (001-008 ) cpu load ~90%
red sv and var at beginning of round but settles down quick
- with 30bots its a lagfest pretty much cpu load ~100%
red sv and var after roundstart never rly settles down (var stays >1-2)
ping raises ~25-27

so i dont know if that does make sense but the performance (cpu load) is waaay way better for me without tuned xD
sure i have better sv and var but i dont think the price is worth it tho (might be better with 30player instead of 30bots and wont hit the 100% then but yea i think if someone wants to run more servers or is already struggling due to a lower cpu frequency then maybe better without tuned xD)
also i feel like ping is better with xanmod only.

BUT maybe the xanmod kernel dont like tuned and with default kernel + tuned its better than xanmod only so i guess i have to test that next
