Hi guys,

So I am working on a server for CS:GO at the moment, basically the issue is, people can join, but some people (not anyone specific, just random) get the Retrying Public error in console and it fails after 30 retries.

Yesterday, I had 7 people on the server (waiting for the last 3 to join for the 5v5), but those 3 people had the Retrying Public error in console and were unable to join. I tried restarting, tried looking in console and there was no record of them trying to join, nothing...

Anyone else experienced this bug? And if so, what did you do to fix it?

UPDATE: Tried to create an absolute fresh server and am still having this problem.

The weird part is, I am hosting another server, which is regarded as the "main server", the first one I created, and no one is having issues connecting to that one...

Firewall issue? I've seen firewall issues allow a couple of people to join then not let anyone else. Also if you're with someone like OVH, they automatically have port 27015 open (first server), second server you'd need to manually open the port.

I am indeed with OVH, I will try opening the port and report back if I continue to have the issue.

I think you go to control panel > ip address > click 3 dots > modify game firewall.

You'll see 27015 hldm2 already done, just make a new rule for for your new port and use hldm2. Then wait a few minutes
