Excellent work, I have been looking forward to this for a while.

Two minor bugs I found early today, when searching and you reach the end of the document it does not restart the search from the beginning. Also, when you change the search dialog box to search up from down, and use the hotkey it auto switches back to down.

Yeah same here.

When typing a function, I love how you can get the definition and how to use it right there, but if I start deleting it and then try to type again, it doesn't show the definition.

Oh I found something else rather important IMO.

CSS or Cascading Style Sheet for those of ya who don't code websites.

Though in the settings it's possible to set up highlighting settings and such for CSS, there is no support for it. When you Open/Save a file, the option to save as a CSS file is not there. And when you open one, it doesn't format it with the settings in the highlighter or generally recognise it. It treats it as a text file.

I use Pawn Studio for all my coding needs, whether it be Pawn, HTML, C++ blah blah blah. HTML and such works fine, but CSS doesn't! I think AMXX Studio had some CSS support.

Anywhoo, is it possible to get it in there? That'd be great if ya could,

And yeah Kirk I get the same problem. It happened in Studio to. I find that function pretty useful to

Thanks, JFeldon

This looks great so far.

One major point I've always had a concern about...when I use it, I always remove the code explorer and toolbar, and resize the window.

But whenever I close the program and re-open it, it gets reset to the defaults and the window is the small size and the toolbars are there.

Is there any way to save the window size preferences, toolbars, etc.?

Yeah I get that to. It links to the not saving highlighter error. I guess it just isn't saving configs properly. It's not creating the files to save it in I don't think. It saves the other configs such as the profile, but nothing else.

Okay, I've just released Pawn Studio 0.8.3. This release fixes most of the reported issues and comes with a few improvements. You can, as always, get it here. This is the complete changelog:
Quote:
- search now auto-restarts (asks for confirmation when end is reached)
- find previous/next now depends on search direction specified in the search dialog
- fixed bug where opening many files caused a crash
- improved multiple file handling
- now properly saves highlighter settings
- fixed weird behavior of profiles feature
- fixed labels in the settings dialog
- fixed the edit menu, now works properly
- added "select all" popup menu to files dialog
- fixed bug where doxygen comments weren't parsed correctly (comments were one char too long)
- fixed bug where changing the active file in the arrow drop-down menu didn't work
- added new baconize link
I hope you like this new version, feedback and donations are very welcome
