We had to reinstall sourcebans and currently in the process of importing in our old bans.
I have the banned ip and steamid info but was unable to locate the file that stores the ban reasons.

I noticed when we use the import ban feature via sourcebans,
that it doesn't import the ban reason and just says it's an imported ban.

Is there a way to import in the old ban reasons as well (automatically or manually),
if so, I would also like to know the file name (where the ban reasons are stored).

Importing/exporting only includes Steam ID's and IP addresses. I also mean that it only includes the permanent bans, and not temporary bans.

In order to keep reasons and other relevant data between reinstalls, you have to backup your database first, and then (re-)use the data from it while reinstalling.

If you for example was moving from one server to another, you shouldn't really "re-install", but simply copy the database and the contents of your web site's folder over to your new host, and then adjust the database information in the configuration file.
