Don't know exactly when this started, but map data shows my server in Kansas when the server is in NJ? Any ideas?

i am not an expert on this subject, but if hlstatsx ce uses GeoLite v1, that's why. v1 is likely not being updated anymore, as the company that made GeoLite made a v2, it's different. People are being forced to upgrade to have up to date data. Kinda sad and dumb in my opinion

Everything I've been reading says that GeoLiteCity is used for Geo-ip lookups (country flags in stats). My country flags are fine. The issue is with the Google map data not displaying the correct server location.

Figured it out. The latitude longitude was incorrect in the MYSQL database. It's now fixed to my exact location :-)

Is there a way to make the server latitude and longitude settings permanent? Every time I restart the server, I have to manually go to phpMyAdmin and re-enter the variables otherwise it goes back to the wrong location.

If you can't live with the free GeoIP Lite databases, there is only one way remaining:

Purchase the MaxMind databases (including their updates) to make it more accurate (according to their own claim, at least).
