OoS-LJ, by the way, the script you were using used es_cexec which sometimes had some problems if the player disconnected in mid-combat. I fixed this in the release in early March. v0.9.5.2 for Linux should also fix the CS:S dependency so should install properly for DOD:S. I just released it here:

If you want to use v0.9.1.0 still, you also could replace the es_cexec command in your script with "ma_cexec" from Mani and you have a very solid chance of everything working smoothly. Your script was very "safe" beyond that command, and I'd be surprised if you see problems like what you saw before with these workarounds.

Ok I will give that a try, I will change to ma_cexec.



Update: ok I put mattie back on updated to 9.5.1. Was working fine and then tonight it crashed. I taking it off again to see if it is mattie or not. So i don't know whats going on. Just figure I will update you.

Everything is working Great!!

My Specs.

gore_version "3.0.4b"
Mattie eventscripts_ver "0.9.5.2"
mani_admin_plugin_version "1.2BetaM RC7 SMM"

Cpl. Questions..

1. When there are skulls on the ground they are impassible, like a wall.

Is there a setting to make them dissapear more rapidly? Almost instantly after appearing? I like them alot, but they cause issues.

I want no Ginbs on Headshots. Just Blood, with the bodies dropping to the ground.

I want gibs on Explosions. Nothing else. With the Skulls disappearing quickly.

Any clue what settings to do this?

Yes it's really easy, must have rcon admin permission, in console type:
rcon gore_menu "steamid" make sure you use (") or it will not work.

then who every steam id you put the menu will be shown.

I hope that was the correct metod, It's the one I used and it works, also besure to save when your done.

Turn on turbophysics, then you can walk over them, and toss them around if you feel like it

What is turbo physics do? Never heard of it.

sv_turbophysics 1

now you can stand on barrels, tables, and push them by +use

turbophysics is turned on by default in DoD:S, but in CS:S it works great too.

There are plugins for CS 1.6, that bring some realism features into gameplay:
If player's health dropped below 20, that he
- player is bleeding with traces on ground
- player's health is decreasing every 5 sec by one hp
- player's speed is decreasing according to health
- player's breath becomes loud

First feature already implemented in GoreMod. RealismMod would be great plugin for CS:Source!
