I don't know if it was discussed before but sv_consistency 0 check doesn't mean that the player is using a hack. VAC just kicks the player, not ban him...

KAC checks to make sure ConVars which are marked as replicated are matching the server's version.

If sv_consistency on the server is set to 0 then KAC expects that every client better have sv_consistency 0. Replicated CVars means that the server's version gets replicated to all the clients when changed. KAC just enforces this and makes sure it is happening the way it is suppose to.

Feature needed! Please.

Things that are being written into KAC.log shold be displayed to admins in chat*. Can you please comment on that, kigen? I really need this feature and sure everybody does.

* Like if someone gets kicked for having sourcemod on the client, an admin will see the message appearing in chat.

I will appriciate if you'll just give me a string of code to put into the source code.

But no, there are no plans to add in a CVar to disable this.
So you want people to recompile the plugin to turn it off? I'll just release my fork and add a cvar (I just removed the network includes on my fork, but it could be moved to a cvar).

I'm just about done with my fork that includes sockets, autoupdate, and kac global banlist checking, but has all 3 of those as optional instead of requires, update and banlist having cvars.

I plan on finishing testing and releasing in a day or two.

Guess no one has noticed.

Anyhow, if you guys are so willing to work on KAC why not apply to be part of KAC rather than creating forks?

Because you made it clear that you did not want global banlist checking, auto-update, and thus sockets, to be optional.

Features, even unwanted ones, are better than a ton of forks .

The only real improvement I can see is in performance and detection, many cheats are still getting through, and on large servers tickrates are lowered.
