Thanks for that nice plugin, really like it! There is just one thing missing: If a player disables the sounds using /soundsoff the sounds are enabled again after a mapchange (please remind to use steamid to save player setting)

Thanks !

whats about nvault? I don't know how it works but since scripting is very similar with php (where global cvars are available) i guess (and hope ;)) that you can set a global cvar in nvault so you can easily read it out with your own script.

i.e. in nvault $players_steam_id = 1 is stored soy ou could use if ($players_steam_id == 1) { do your stuff }

it is very annoying if you have to disable sounds every map again and again and again.

btw. i checked the source and cleaned it up. originial file size is 76.3 KB, cleaned size is only 45.3 KB.

there are global variables but they are reseted every mapchange
nvault is writing and parsing an file too but would make things even more complicated than doing it on my own

what do you mean with "cleaned up" ? just removed all comments ?

Everytime i load cs_assault map my server says:
Can't precache resource with invalid relative path sound\misc\bud.wav
Can't precache resource with invalid relative path sound\misc\haha.wav
Can't precache resource with invalid relative path sound\misc\doh.wav
Can't precache resource with invalid relative path sound\misc\doh2.wav
Can't precache resource with invalid relative path sound\misc\doh3.wav
Can't precache resource with invalid relative path sound\misc\doh4.wav
Can't precache resource with invalid relative path sound\misc\doh5.wav
Can't precache resource with invalid relative path sound\misc\doh7.wav
Can't precache resource with invalid relative path sound\misc\dohoo.wav
Can't precache resource with invalid relative path sound\misc\dohnuts.wav

and so on. It only happens on assault map. Im 100% sure that the sounds are there. Any ideas?

Heya,

for some reason my game crashes with "NUM_FOR_EDICT: bad pointer" when my configuration file exceeds 6185 bytes (183 lines in total, 182 sounds, last line is a comment).
I changed MAX_KEYWORDS to 255, which works fine just to this very point.

I tried to reproduce this with a config file containing only comments (lines with "//") with size > 6185 bytes, since the crash seemed not to be related to the number of sounds rather than the configuration file size.
Unfortunately, I can't reproduce it this way.

Attached is the version of the file which produces the crash (even if you can't test it if you don't have the sounds).

FYI: I'm using CS 1.6, metamod 1.19, amxmodx 1.8.1.3679 (nightly).

Cheers
