Random var spikes

Hi,

I've been running my server for a while now, but for some reason my var started randomly spiking to 20-30. I have no idea what's causing that as I haven't done much changes recently.

How would I go about troubleshooting that? top command doesnt give me anything.

What are your player count/tickrate and server specs?

Do you have your server on two cores?

I had less than 15 people tickrate 80.4
Single Xeon core 3GHz usage was about 50% 2GB RAM

Try turning tickrate to 64 and see if it fixes the problem

I was also having this issue with my var spiking to around 4, running a 128 tick server 10 man, on https://puu.sh/txfVp/a3988967e9.png

Even with just 4 people on, var still spikes to 17 or 32 even after changing tick to 64, what's going on?
