Hey everyone, this doesn't have anything to do with AMXX, but sense this has the most knowledgeable admins of anywhere else i thought id bounce it off you first.

I am wondering if there is a way to send commands to an HLTV server from our private match server. Specifically, I am wanted to add a command to our lo3.cfg or pregame.cfg or w/e to tell the hltv server either start recording the demo (given that it is always connected) or have it connect to the match server and start recording (the record command is in hltv.cfg)

I am trying to have it so it only records matches and not demo after demo of downtime without having to manually start/stop it for every scrim etc...

And any ideas of how to have it stop recording after the match automatically would be appreciated as well.

I use match deluxe to manage matches and HLTV, but you may be able to utilise HLTV Report, with a few modifications you could use it to start and stop recordings I suppose. Alternatively the X-war System can do similiar as well.

problem with that is u cant have any plug ins on match servers for CAL
