Motd not showing when player joins server.

I started up my server for the first time in a few months. For some reason the motd doesn't show when a player joins the server. It goes straight to the team choose page. It was working fine last time I used it. My motd file is in my csgo folder. Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks for helping. I tried that earlier but I get an 'Unkown command "sv_disable_motd". Any idea what it could be?

Just fixed it. Apparently it's a hidden cvar and you need to use sm_cvar to access it. I fixed it by entering the following line in the server console:

sm_cvar sv_disable_motd 0

My motd still doesn't show up either. I've added the above cvar to my cfg.

EDIT: Fixed it...I've a case of the dumb ass today.

people just notice this now? The motd disabled been going on for at least 2 months no?

Seems to just be for csgo. This will be yet another huge hit on community servers if it happens in tf2.

Use this it will force it to re-enable permanently.
