When you type "sm_cvar l4d_flashlight_colour" does it show the default value and not the one you specified? If so you need the Command and ConVar - Buffer Overflow Fixer plugin.

This plugin has a visual problem specifically to the Mall level. (This also includes other maps as well). The flashlight shows up as the wrong model. First it was the alarm door, and now, it's just a big black square covering up to half of the starting room's length.

I installed this plugin and the recommended extension. In the file "l4d_flashlight.cfg", I set the required color - l4d_flashlight_colour "41 233 41" and cvar l4d_flashlight_lock "1". But then I checked the plug-in in the game - anyway when starting the default color.
I also checked the plug-in command sm_light. But this command does not want to work for me, and does not fix any color. Only the command for the flashlight color from the chat

c1m3_mall yeah, too many models or something loading on this map, causing models to swap. See this post to disable the plugin on that map: https://forums.alliedmods.net/showpo...1&postcount=34

Sorry I cannot replicate this. It works for me, light shows green when I join. The command sm_light works for me, I don't know what's wrong with your server.

We have 88 entries in the stringtable for "modelprecache" to precache what we want,
half of the stringtable is are brushes

Hello, how can i configure to startup all players with a default color and lights on?

I tried to put this on server.cfg

sm_lightclient @survivors Red

But says "No player found"

If i run some seconds later it works, but i want to make it automatically

Theres an option for this in the cvars config:

This plugin has a tendency to ruin the fps on certain maps. Not talking about stock maps, but some of the custom maps struggle with it. Yama finale lags like crazy and Back to School map event also drops frames to ~30.
