I am trying to install hlstats by following these 2 guides:

https://github.com/NomisCZ/hlstatsx-...i/Installation
https://bitbucket.org/Maverick_of_UC...n/wiki/Install

However, the problem is that those required perl packages (MySQL DBI // DBD Geo-IP PurePerl) are not available anymore in perl package manager, even in version 5.24. How am I supposed to install them?

Are these guides even relevant these days or are there other more-up-to-date installation guides?

Edit: Ahh, missed were you said windows. Unsure if the below helps with that.

Presuming you are not using Docker:

I used this guide to get my HLStatsX installed on my 8.x VPS: https://zppv.boards.net/thread/1074/...y-installation.

Along with the src -> web folder from this repo: https://github.com/startersclan/hlst...munity-edition

There are plenty of other builds out there, some more active than others: https://dna-styx.github.io/HLStatsX-Fork-Activity/

If you are using Docker: pick one with Docker in the description and recent updates. NiDE-gg & musosoft are the two that I hear most folks talking about.

I got everything up and running after switching from activeperl to strawberry perl. I guess activeperl 5.24 support which comes with most hlstats distributions is simply dropped so it's waste of time trying to use it. But once again, this is a windows server installation so things might be different.

I didn't have any luck with strawberry perl, so i built a package with activestate.
This will work on Windows 11 with the latest hlstatsx from A1mDev

Perl-5.38.3-Windows

Mind to tell how did you install DBD::mysql using strawberry perl?
i stuck at:
Code:
--> Working on DBD::mysql
Fetching http://www.cpan.org/authors/id/D/DV/DVEEDEN/DBD-mysql-5.011.tar.gz ... OK
Configuring DBD-mysql-5.011 ... N/A
! Configure failed for DBD-mysql-5.011. See x:\x\x\.cpanm\work\1744202354.1436\build.log for details.
any idea?
