Have to say been running this on our clan and public server and there are no bugs that I have found and the server has not crashed in the time that this has been running. Its not tlike this is a well established admin plugin that has been around for years, there is bound to be the odd bug you find but EKS has fixed and bugs very quickly. Also it is a RC plugin still, not a final version

why dont you try it for your self and it's pretty clear too.

Example one: admin_kick "Playersname" "Message" - This kicks you instead of the person you want to kick.

Example two: Erase everything in the public messages.txt then set in the config 0 for the public message and 0 for the time, restart the server and then go into the server the public message is xy'xy

Exmple three: If you have public messages set to 0 and 0 mins in the public.txt or w/e it is:

Welcome to NEXLYNE <--- It will show tihs message in the server when its supposed to be off

Enjoy your stay

Like i said i could be wrong on these but i highl doubt it.

then don't use the console, i don't know why you would want to when there is a menu that works perfectly. and if you don't like it don't use it.

by all means post constructive criticism but don't post drivel when the guy has spent his own time making it for free.

it would have been more constructive if you had posted it like this

I really didnt mean it, notice how i asked if he needed help he could e-mail me and iwould help him but if you tihnk its being mean then im very sorry...


Edit -

And my server is for CSS not DOD... And i would like to use his admin mod bc its the only basic one out there right now since Xpahan isnt updating his anymore, i was using his and i like the consol bc im not a big menu fan but still even then the public messages still has something wrong with it though.

@S.H.O.T.S The bugs you reported was real,but its poinless to make a post that nobody understands. Aslo being rude afterwards is annoying, and installing my plugin on your server gives me nothing. Its me helping you.


On another note:
The parsing of publicmessages / mapcycle is still less then perfect on linux servers, if your having issues simply add a space behind what you wrote.
Il release BAT 1.1 Beta 1 soon, and if the fix there works on linux servers il make a 1.01 stable release.

Hi!
At first, your plugin is really nice, cause it isn`t that overloaded as mani
But I somehow miss an endround map vote, like mani has.
When a map ends, a menu comes up in which you can choose which map you want to play next
It would be really nice if you could implement this.

There is a end map vote, its not gonna work in hl2mp or mods based on it ( untill chat based voting is impimented on BAT 1.1 Beta 1)

Looks like the latest steam update has broken rockthevote. Was working before steam update but not any more.
