How do i stop sound when i emit sound???

Hi... i recently started doing scripting for cs 1.6 and it's pretty fun tbh, but i just cannot figure out how to stop the sond from playing when said "/stopsnd" in cs 1.6

i tried SND_STOP but it didnt work... please help

to be honest, i haven't tried something like that before, but if there's really no other option, i'd suggest to play an empty 0,1sec mp3. or .wav file when u want to stop another sound

SND_STOP should work, show what you tried.

emit_sound with SND_STOP flag will only work if you try to stop a specific sound that's already playing.
Also, I'm not sure but, I think the channel the sound is playing on must also be the same.

I fixed it. i just needed to add SND_STOP to flags. thank you for helping!!
