Hey guys
whén i run my Steam HLDS ,
i go to Google then i search for my ip , then i go to cs and i Type : Connect xxx.xx.xx.xxx:27015
but nothing hapend , but if i tape 192.168.1.1 it works ..
Ps : I already oppened port 27015 >< , help pls ?

In my experience, some modems won't let you connect via your external IP. Have a friend (who is not on your network) try connecting.

Is your firewall disabled?

Start the Server and then go to http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ and put in your server port and check if it's reachable. If you disable your firewall and then it works, you need to allow your server port in your firewall.

Huuuh that's strange.. It used to work . It show me that both port 27015 & 3389 are closed O.o . But they are open in my firewall . And yes firewall is disabled. :$ then what to do pls ?

Check router's settings, it's called "user isolation" (or something like this), you can't see/reach a server from your own LAN/external IP. Of course if ports are correctly opened.

Server is running? Some application should "listening" port which you check by website, even it's "opened" in router and not blocked by firewall.
