MetamodX is just a simple trivial patch. I put my name on it so people would know to come to me for mob beatings, support, and questions.

A metamod official release will come out soon, hopefully timed with 0.20 release for us

The metamod dev team will DEFINITELY not accept hullu's patches to metamod for this next release, it is far too big of a rewrite, the stability is not yet known, and it does not work on amd64.

i think those links should be removed due to the Fact that some of the MM he has Posted have not been Fully tested and Some noob may come along and say o look at this lets use this ... than come to the AMXX boards and complain complain MY SERVER won't Start or My Server keeps Crashing ... than we ask him/her what did you do .. i Downloaded a METAMOD From these Fourms : so its AMXX's FULT ~!!!

I'm not bashing what hullu did at all. You simply don't understand what's going on. I put those patches in there so I could completely read what he changed against the original metamod version (since CVS has a nice differential feature).

By the way, I'm on the only person hullu gave the final set of metamod patches to (1.17p5).

The fact of the matter is, what hullu did is quite amazing and he is a talented programmer, but to quote the Metamod maintainer on this, "I don't know if I would use something like this". We are still discussing the real issues behind what hullu did, but it is better to get out a Metamod that fixes the immediate problems rather then spending 2 months arguing over whether what Hullu did is a viable solution.
