before i had a 0.5 mb/s fastDL and now i upgraded it to 1.5 mb/s

and kinda i notice how the fastDL cant sync the small material and model files i have bzipped fast enough so my maximum download speed is around 300-400 kb/s on those. if i download a big map it gives me 1.4 mb/s

is that because of crappy cpu / ssd on the server i am renting on? and any tip to where there is any good fastDL's?
cause i tried with 2 computers and then i just got halfed network rate and up to total 300-400 kb/s

so this upgrade from 0.5 mb/s to 1.5 mb/s is feeling like a ripoff since its exacly the same speed as 0.5 mb/s
yeah i have sv_minrate 0 and sv_maxrate 0, or maybe i have sv_minrate 500000 or something.

Well, you could start of by telling where your server is hosted so we don't choose a web host on the other side of the planet.

Tbh 1.5 mb/s sucks, there are a lot of other webprovides who provide much more speed.

well yeah, need one in US or London. i got aprox 110-120 ping to the one i have but since i tried to connect to the fastDL with 2 different networks on 2 different computers and i just ended up getting half download speed on each, 200 kb/s each then i know its the fastDL side that messes up on syncing the files fast enough.

I use Site5 - I pay them I think around $5 a month for unlimited storage and unlimited bandwidth. I believe they have locations in both places you are looking for but just the Dallas location is enough for even EU players to pull from.

Veli no file sharing. People dont see from where they download.
they download only new files when they join the gameserver. I think around 2 or 3 GB data per month.

Sounds like you host your game server on a vps/dedicated machine.
I recommend to host the web server for fast download on the same machine (on low priority) or use a small vps ($5~) for it.

I use hosting24 for my fastDL. Cheap and reliable, and the download/upload speeds are pretty decent.

I've been using site5 for years now and not a single issue. The only thing they have an issue with is too many concurrent connections but with 15 servers most nearly full its never sparked a comment from them.
They have really fast and reliable services and CHEAP! Do keep in mind I use them as a website service and I host a ton of files downloaded for my servers and other things 24/7... I don't use their services to run servers from. I even use them for database functions like sourcebans and not a single problem! Very good company!
