Is there some method of ensuring that a unusual effect is properly displayed above a players head? I use TF2Attributes to apply the effect to the players hat cosmetic, but the effect sometimes appears at the players waist.
Example of problem:
Again, most of the time the effect works fine. I'm interested in finding a method that works every time.
Edit: The glitch seems to occur more often if I change the style of the cosmetic either before or after applying the unusual effect.
Edit2: A working solution is to apply attribute 520 (particle effect use head origin) to the cosmetic. Thanks goes to PC Gamer for finding and sharing the solution. Thanks PC!
