This simple plugin allows server admin to customize tv_record demo name with the current date/time and map name.

Demo name format is configured with the sm_tvrecord_format which is formatting string for FormatTime function (look here for date/time formatting options) enhanced with %map and %name placeholders which are expanded with current map name and demo name supplied by user.

Default formatting string is "%Y%m%d-%H%M-%map-%name". With the "tv_record test" command it starts demo recording with the name similar to "20090615-1048-de_dust-test.dem".

Yes if you start record manually using tv_record command

First create empty folder demo in game root (example counter strike ...cstrike/demo)
Then using rcon
rcon tv_record demo\demoname

I think if you are using tv_autorecord 1 on server what start record demos all the time after map changes.
It doesn't work, it will automatically record demos in game root.
