I originally created the nickname Powerleech for a creator account on a MUD I was helping design (long dead by now). However, my user got corrupted, so I had to create a new account with a new name, so I changed it to Powerlord after (iirc) a random creature in a different MUD I'd played.

That was 18 years ago.
