Hi there!

Im looking for a solution where the player on my server can buy VIP and get weapon skins as VIP and no one else.

What would be the best solution for that?

Right now Im thinking about using the paypal donation system where the player could send a donation and their steam link.

I couldnt find a VIP plugin thats customizable yet.

By profiteering off illegal plugins, do you mean similarly to token stash , the site you own and operate that allows people to purchase quantities of Game Server Login Tokens exclusively for servers that run illegal plugins?

I'm no moral authority, but I think you are likely one of the last people in this forum that should take the holier-than-thou approach to illegal plugins.

Edit - I want to add that I have a ton of respect for you for the things you've brought to the community. You are always seemingly pretty helpful, including to me in the past. I've also bought from this service from you in the past. I just can't understand why someone like you, of all people, are constantly taking this approach to illegal plugin discussion when you are at the forefront of it with services you provide.

There are fine lines in the sand here.

Valve took an approach to take profit with GSLT instead of patching the actual problem as done in TF2. My site was created in retaliation to this to make it cheaper to run illegal plugins for us all. I dont exactly profiteer and drive a Porsche around. I'm lucky to cover my costs most months.

With that being said Valve hasn't pushed a GSLT ban for a week while checking the other sites they are pushing fake bans over the last week and probably reusing the same two accounts.

Server ops taking money for VIP to get WS is just fucking low regardless of my own projects.

Im also just trying to cover the costs for my server. I wont make any profit either.

You pay for VIP on every server which gives the player certain perks like bhop, trails, player models, more health etc. I dont get why my approach is any different.

Its against Valve rules to use !ws and !knife.

It doesn't stop people from buying the tokens from Neuro Toxin but you should be aware that Valve can find a fix for this and you can get banned.

With that said, you can just simply make it so people get certain flag when they donate.
Then just override !ws or !knife to that flag.

Or if you want EACH skin inside of !ws and !knife to have its special flag then you gotta edit the script abit.
