This plugin adds commands, which you can use to see the IP addresses of other players. The plugin automatically hides the IPs of administrators, because nowadays players often use the so called "flood", especially against the admins. The option for IP hiding can be disabled by a cvar. A menu can be used to check the IP of a specific player. Some forums require date and time when reporting players, so this plugin will automatically display them when using a command.

• showip_adminonly -- Whether the command is available for admins only.
• showip_adminflag -- The admin flag.
• showip_hideadmins -- If enabled, the plugin won't show the IP addresses of administrators.
• showip_showport -- Whether the port will be shown (:27015).

Ever hard of "dynamic IP"?
No one gives a fuck about someones IP if he uses a STEAM server. The only purpose of this "plugin" is if you cannot ban by STEAM_ID because you run a no-steam server.

Many countries massively use Non-Steam servers, and 99% of them use a plugin like this, so if you don't give a fuck about it, many others do. The main reason I made this is because I get a lot of complaints about flood against server admins.

One plugin like this is already approved in this website, so this tells me that posting something like this is not forbidden. You asked me about Non-Steam servers - I gave you an answer about them. Use a different reason for this plugin being here, if the other one makes your life so difficult. ;)

Nobody on this forum does. We are Steam only. The plugin that your referring to is designed to display the player's country based on geoip when they connect. The show ip part is optional.

This plugin has no purpose here. Unapproved.

@hornet - Believe me, this website feeds a lot from people who do. Unapproved plugins can be as useful as approved ones, not a big difference.
