The radio on SourceTunes doesn't seem to work in L4D2?

Here is a really cool flash based radio browser I found a long time ago. This is far superior than Source Tunes or any other radio offering I have found thus far. Since it uses the SHOUTcast api, one is able to easily browse the 37,000+ stations offered by SHOUTcast.

This interface requires that you have your own web server with php support, but most of you probably already have this. If not, there are a lot of free hosts out there and anyone may use my installation if they wish.

Well that was a tuffy to figure out.

I run my server behind Windows7 but I finally got RADIO to work in TF2.

I had to go to Source Tunes and download the player plugin.

Installed Radio plugin as per instructions, found that the new player needs the webshortcuts plugin, so I found that and installed it as well

After loading the plugins, I found that !radio was working to the point of bringing the station lists up in the MOTD screen, but the player would not engage. I reloaded the Flash player for Windows IE, still nothing.

I found another link that lead me to installing the adobe flashplayer "for Other Browsers"

Once I installed this, EVERYTHING worked!!

Hope this helps SOMEONE!!

How is this l4d2-server able to play music at the welcomescreen (usually doesn't work at l4d2) and ingame by command?

http://steamcommunity.com/groups/left4loli

Is anyone able to find out how this is done?
