The sane way to do it is to patch the function that checks the bidirectional teleport attribute, I might throw something together for this later if I'm bored.

Yup either detour and set the value during the function or just patch the logic directly.

It crashes the server before it has a chance to start all the way (and nothing in the logs about it), but that's probably just because of the recent updates.

Yes, everything fully worked

update crashed it though

not only that, I got MANY positive reviews from it.

I would love to see a patch that allowed the use of some MvM-only attributes.

I myself would have use for adjusting sg fire rate, disp range and ofcourse tele bi-directional.

Perhaps, rather than patching MvM stuff, add a copy that is non-MvM?
