Hi, i have installed hlds on a server running FreeBSD 4.9, because of the linux compat. the HLDS running fine, but if i try to run MLDS/META Plugins that use the GLIBC i get only errors...

I use FreeBSD 4.9 with newest Linux compat. pack (with GLIBC 2.4+).

(BTW: Metamod (orig.) and AdminMod are running fine o_O )

Hi, habe folgendes Problem:

Hilfe, HELP!

why do you keep saying the glibc versions? all the binaries use glibc

if you look on sourceforge there are both 2.2 and 2.3 binary packages (i386, i686).

if you have any actual errors post them

when metamod loads it reports errors like this:
[META] Load failed... etc

please find that in the logs or server start up console and show me
(if you changelevel in the console you will see it)

We also have this problem on our servers. Same error. Seems like the Linux Binaries version is too new for AMXX... Can someone please compile AMXX with the latest Linux Binaries under FreeBSD?

do a ls -l in your /lib dir andfilter by libc*

look for the version nthat would be compatible with this

then make a symlink from /lib/libc.so.6 to w/e the compatible version would be.

I have done this before for other stuff and it tricked it into working for me.
