Hello,

I am trying to setup a server with the Counter-Strike Deathmatch mod, and it needs amxx. I have been trying for a few hours to get it all working, but amxx won't load into metamod, and worse it does not return any usable error. This is all I can find in logs and from rcon:

I have tried amxx_mm_i386.so AND amxx_mm_i686.so, neither work and give me the same output. There is NOTHING in console about why it isn't loading. This is only loading amxx and not the csdm mod, the files right from the tar.gz file.

OS: FreeBSD 5.2.1-RELEASE-p7

If anyone has had this problem, has a suggestion how to find the errors, or anything on this problem the help would be greatly appreciated.

note: just for kicks I tried to install AMX and it worked just fine, I don't know if this is based off the same code or what, but maybe that will help out.

note #2: I also tried compiling from source, but that brought up another whole bunch of problems with the Makefile.

it s a "right" problem on FTP (check CHMOD ) and exit serv or restart before installing

What should the permissions be? They are set to -rwxr-xr-x (0755) right now. Also which files am I looking to check the permissions on.

Not really important.

But I did some testing and it seems to be a problem that only happens on 5.2, since I can load amxx on my 4.9 boxes just fine. So we are going to get this box switched to 4.9.

Try running you FreeBSD with an older Linux Binaries version. The lastest version doesn't like AMXX (or AMXX doesn't like the latest binaries). We have the same problem on our servers. So we won't run AMXX.
