Pardon the doublepost, but I felt this might be bump-worthy.

Here's a version with added basic logging. It's based on Mister Magotchi's version.
It adds the cvar apm_logmode 1/0 to enable/disable logging.

Example (addons/sourcemod/logs/antipingmask.log):

L 2014/06/05 11:59:50: Detected "foobar" (STEAM_0:0:1234567) using invalid rate: 5+

Anyone know why this would not all of a sudden or here lately not kick a user thats entered but instead flood sourcebans with user is banned for ping masking over and over? OR know of a working alternative?

I don't know about the cmdrate changes but still seems like this is having some weird adverse effect on sourcebans. Will continue to note a ban to the user but isn't kicking the user out of the server so it just floods SB's with bans.

P.S. No need for translations. My version does not say anything to anyone.



Notice: This version does not kick or ban, but forces the server to show the player's ping on the server. (Tested on TF2 via pressing the TAB button to see the score board ping) In theory, this should work for the other games (CS and CS:GO and others, maybe?)

While it is important to mention the reason for any kick or ban. It's a nice feature you have added. Just hope developer takes all the added features in the 3 versions in this thread and adds it to a final version with support for sourcebans++ and updater by godtony. This plugin needs to be remade and officially supported. The 3 versions by you and the other 2 modders are really good but for a server owner an all in one maintained version would be nice.
