Any idea why this does not work in Pirates, Vikings and Knights 2?

Do you know anything about projectiles and thrown entities in that game? The plugin as it stands hooks entities with a _projectile suffix; it's possible that in PVK2, projectile entities don't follow that naming convention.

So I got an answer here from a pvk2 developer:

"our projectiles have no prefix/suffix

they are just what you'd expect the projectile to be called like 'arrow' for longbow projectile 'javelin' for javelin projectile, etc. The way it hooks it is probably string comparing name to see if contains prefix/suffix, so could just be changed to string compare against the set of names for projectiles"

Would it be possible to make your plugin work for pvk2? Lots of people would appreciate that like they said in the thread I started, me included. Please?

Thank you for the French translation, I have updated the translation file to include it.

There is no config file right now, so you can set convars in server.cfg or something similar. The original plugin only had two convars so I didn't bother with a plugin-specific cfg file, but now there are a lot more, so I will add one in the next update. And thanks for the advice about the L4D2 camera adjustment.

Sure, can you please link to a list of all the projectile classnames in the game?

Hi there,

to fasten your case just install the plugin in attachment. It will log the entity classname of every entity created. Run it for a certain time (i.e. just install it and shoot everything that you consider a projectile in the map). Then post the log of the plugin here.

Also, run in your server the following command : "sm_dump_classes pvk_classes.txt". This will create in your mod folder the file "pvk_classes.txt". Post it here. It contains the classnames of the entities in PVK. It might help.

Because the instructions in the Updater thread about not using 2-digit version numbers was ignored .
