HLDS 5758 is the most recent and it isnt beta, but by adding the -beta hlbeta parameter you are also updating cstrike to its beta. I told Alfred from Valve there shouldnt be a beta since we are talking about a crash exploit, but he kept it like that.

So there is now beta now and nothing to do if you have hlds(cstrike) servers?

Sometime (in all of my servers) players ping increase to 200 for like 5sec and then goes to normal.
It is just some error with host or can it be this attack?

I'm getting these lag spikes too.

If your problem is lag I would try flooding the "fullupdate" command to see if your server is properly updated. If that doesn't lag your server then you may be a victim of a DDoS attack or you have problematic plugins.

a lot of exploits were fixed in the lastest steam updates, + the post is too old and no one will care about it.
