Ok, could you send me your csstats.dat file to the email address that I PM'd you? The csstats editor automatically saves a backup if you need it.

Wow, ok... so no correspondance since 2005. Not hopeful for a reply then but I'm having some preoblems with the csstats.dat editor.

Firstly let me say a fantastic tool, it is invaluable to me for removing hackers from the ranking. Now though I am having a few problems. The ranking on my server reset itself... odd I thought but never mind as I saved a previous cstsats.dat file. I loaded that to the ftp and whehey! rankings back... untill the next day when they reset again. If I load my saved csstats.dat file to the ftp, restart so it loads, switch off the server then remove the csstats.dat from the ftp and load it into the editor it does not save any statistics (it reverts to the previous saved csstats.dat) and then randomly resets itself again

I've ben round in circles trying to figure this out... Is this because the csstats.dat can only hold a certain amount or have i somehow corrupted my csstas.dat with the editor (is there a possability?).

Any idea's would be really appreciated.

Never mind, shame on me for thinking there could be an error with your editor

I scouted through my cfg files and notice at the bottom of amxx.cfg there was a cvar called csstats_maxsize. I googled that and found this explination...

http://forums.alliedmods.net/archive...p/t-65197.html

I've set my csstats_maxsize to 999999 and reloaded my saved csstats.dat file to the ftp. Here's hoping.

I get "Run-time error '6': Overflow" when I try to load the stats. My csstats.dat is 988KB.

Please do not edit your stats file if it is giving you that error. I will need it as-is in order to debug the program. Can you please email it to me? I'll PM you my email address

Thanks paulius, I found the cause of the error. I will post a fixed version when I have time to correct and test the code. +k

Don't want to be pushy or anything, just wanted to tell that we are still waiting for a debugged version!
Just a thought: there could be a 'cleanup' button which would delete all players with less than X kills + deaths (for example, <100)..that would be a useful feature, because at least 1/3 of the players in my csstats.dat are one-time connecters or people who don't play regullary on that server, so there is much wasted stats space.
