Hi!

iam confused because i think killing a Teammate (in FFA Mode) is harder then killing an enemy.

i have a CSSDM server and want to run only FFA mode. is there a fix or something else to force only 1 Team....etc.....

Make sure you don't have mp_friendlyfire on.

I've got the same problem with cssdm 0.8
When in FFA mode. You can kill the other team easy, but someone on your own team is harder. Its like the hit reg is gone.

FF damage is close to 1/3 the total damage, I ran into this problem with my dm mod also, ended up taking away some health for every FF hit.

awuh0: please do not post things like this unless you know what you're talking about, it only creates misconceptions I have to deal with.

CS:S DM does not have anything to do with friendlyfire. It allows you to shoot teammates for full damage. You must have mp_friendlyfire off.

I have also noticed that it is harder to kill a teammate. I'll try to get an exact ratio for you later tonight, but it is definintely harder to kill a teammate. I do have mp_friendlyfire 0.
It's not a big deal for me though, because I think I am going to turn off ffa. People get confused having their teammates shoot at them and a lot don't seem to like it after they find out it's ffa.

Bailopan, shooting a teamate never has done as much damage as shooting an enemy. I dont know if you find some kind of hook to change that but right now it takes about two - three times the damage to kill a teamate as it does an enemy regardless of friendlyfire being on.

Look, I went in game and shot both a teammate and an enemy in the same place. Same damage. You can verify this yourself with the CS:S DM FFA beta.

Please, you need to find something more conclusive.
